By combining location-based search, personalized job alerts, and quick applications, the app helps users stay in control of their job search, whether they’re actively applying or casually exploring new opportunities.
The focus was always on accessibility, trust, and convenience, ensuring users could search and apply for jobs anytime, anywhere, without unnecessary friction.
Challenges
Totaljobs had to serve a wide range of users, from first-time jobseekers to experienced professionals actively applying every day. Designing an experience that worked equally well for both without adding complexity was a key challenge.
The platform also processes job listings from thousands of employers and recruitment agencies, which made maintaining listing accuracy, relevance, and freshness a constant effort.
